OVERVIEW
The TC Series Contact Input Photocell is used to switch circuits on or off by reading the amount of sunlight present. The Contact Input Photocell connects to the system’s low voltage switch inputs. The Photocell provides a signal that replicates a maintained switch. The Photocell constantly monitors the level of sunlight. When sunlight increases to the switching threshold the Contact Input Photocell will provide a signal to the lighting controller. It operates within a range of 10 to 200 footcandles and comes with a deadband feature to prevent the Photocell from cycling lights on cloudy days. The switching threshold is adjusted by a potentiometer. The Contact Input Photocell can be installed outdoors when supplied with the weatherproof enclosure.
