OVERVIEW
The Luxstat ON/OFF Control Module by Servodan provides multilevel ON/OFF Daylight Harvesting control utilizing a unique Open Loop control algorithm. Instead of measuring the light inside of the space the Luxstat Open Loop ON/OFF Daylight Harvesting Control Module measures the amount of daylight entering the space. During installation, lighting levels (without artificial lighting) are measured at task height for each of the 1 to 3 zones to be controlled. These levels are then input into the control module, which then automatically calculates the “Daylight Factor” for each zone. The photocell measures daylight and transmits this data to the Luxstat ON/OFF Control Module. W hen daylight is adequate, the controller switches light off. When daylight diminishes below the desired set point, the control module switches lighting back on. The ON and OFF delays for each channel are individually adjustable. The Luxstat ON/OFF Control Module is part of a Daylight Harvesting system that includes the Luxstat Light Sensor and the Luxstat Power Pack. The control module can also integrate with occupancy sensors and manual control wall switches to provide a complete integrated classroom or meeting room solution.
